We continued our practice, begun in October 2001 at Guadalupe Peak Texas, carrying our U.S. flag with us to state highpoints we visit. These images, plus those of our home state of Missouri and the first one from Texas, have been sent to the Highpointers Club as contributions to their "Fifty Flags" project in memory of those who lost their lives in the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Pennsylvania countryside on September 11, 2001. |
