View from the Trail before Sunrise
Looking back down from about 10,000' where the trail switchbacks at a rockslide chute, we could see the sunrise creeping along although the trail was still in the shadow of Humphreys Peak.

Summit Ridge on Humphreys Peak
From the Humphreys/Agassiz saddle, we saw the ridgeline leading up to the summit of Humphreys Peak. We could also see the false summits along the way.

False Summit on the Humphreys Peak Ridgeline
As we hiked along, there were three of these false summits to skirt as the trail contoured along and just below the ridgeline.

View East from the Humphreys Peak Ridgeline
At points along the ridgeline trail, you can see out to the southeast and are presented with an expansive view of the San Francisco Peaks.

The True Summit of Humphreys Peak
At last, the true summit hump along the ridgeline. For scale, note the two hikers about halfway up the final summit pitch.
